Important information for parents of Learn To Swim and Development Squads

As you know, this week (19th and 21st) is our last week at Kingsley and we will be doing a distance badge week.  Those involved have received a separate email about this.   With regard to lessons next week and beyond please see details below.

For all swimmers in our widths groups.  To ensure there is no loss of lesson time we have managed to negotiate with Abbey Stadium to start the Monday and Thursday 6-7pm sessions next week so please ensure that you know what group your child is in and bring them along next week at the allocated time.  If you are not sure please ask Meg at this weeks lesson.

To all swimmers moving to the Sunday lengths session: Your first session at Abbey is meant to be on the 8th October, however this clashes with Club championships being held at the pool.  To make up for this and to ensure no lesson time is lost, the lengths session will be on SATURDAY 7TH OCTOBER, 3:30-4:30 AT STUDLEY SWIMMING POOL.  The Sunday lengths session at the Abbey Stadium will then begin on the 15th of October.

For all Bronze and Silver Squad swimmers, your session next Monday evening (25th September) has been cancelled to allow for the Club Champs to take place. Apologies to any swimmers who came along last night and weren’t aware of this.   SATURDAY 23rd SEPTEMBER and SATURDAY 7th OCTOBER the Bronze and Silver session will be combined at 12.30 to allow for the above and below. However Saturday 30th September the Bronze and Silver sessions will be separate and at their normal times.

For all Full Gold Squad Swimmers (part moves to attend the Silver sessions) – on Saturday 23rd September your session will be at Studley 3.30 – 4.30. On Saturday 30th September and 7th October you will be able to attend the two hour session at Camp Hill Boys School from 12-2pm.

From Monday 8th October everything will be moving to the NEW normal including KES.  This will include the split into Bronze 1 and Bronze 2.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause but please appreciate we are doing all we can to work within the parameters that we have been given.

Kind Regards

Megan Moss and Diana Wright
