2018 Club Championships

UPDATE : October 2018 Club Championships - DETAILS HERE

In a change from previous years, the club has decided to hold the 50m 'Sprints' part of the annual Club Championships in July, at the end of the Summer training season.

This, we hope, will give swimmers a better indication of their ability before the summer break, and in lead up to the busy Autumn/Winter schedule when training and achieving those all-important County and Regional qualifying times are forefront in everyone's minds.

This year, we will hold the 50m 'sprints' on Saturday 21st July 2018, at The Abbey Stadium, warm up 5.30pm.

Only swimmers aged 8 and over (on 31st December 2018) are eligible to enter these events, as per Swim England recommendations.

The other distance events - including the 25m events (open to our younger swimmers) will be held in the Autumn as normal.

Please see the ENTRY PACK for further details, conditions and entry form. - UPDATED for October 2018.

Please read the FAQs for more info, especially if this is your first time for the Club Champs.

Current Club Championship Records

Many of the Club Championship events have trophies associated with them which are presenetd at the annual awards night.  Over the years, many trophies have been withdrawn due to condition and not replaced. If any families or businesses would like to join in providing new trophies for the club please email the Chairman.

Trophies can be donated at any point in the year and will be awarded to event winners when we receive a new trophy. We will confirm costs as we order but it is usually £100 per trophy excluding engraving.
