Congratulations to Maddie Price. During half term Maddie completed the practical assessment of her swim teacher qualification. There is just a little bit of crossing the t's and dotting the i's and then Maddie is fully qualified as a swim teacher.
Over the summer Adrian Rodd and Ali Willis have completed the theory elements of qualifying as a Swim Coach (level 2 in old money.) They are working through the remaining elements and when lock down is lifted they will be able to complete the practical assessments.
Dan Holmes and Lauren Hartland have completed the theory elements of the Assistant Swim Teacher Course. Dan's practical assessment due in November will be cancelled due to the new national lockdown. It's hoped that Lauren's assessment can still take place in December.
Louise Quirke and Nicola Steward have completed the theory elements of an assistant swim coach course. Awaiting the practical assessment to be arranged by the Institute of Swimming.
Though not directly supported by the club congratulations too to James Mucklow, Drew Bailey and Lauren Hartland for completing the Royal Life Saving Societies' Lifeguarding course. James qualified as a lifeguard during the summer holidays and Lauren and Drew during the October half term.
